Do this Friday
Friday is the first hour of the audit, not a rushed two-hour cancellation spree. Use 35 minutes to sweep and 25 minutes to begin verdicts; complex exports, cancellations, contract notice, dependency tracing, remaining verdicts, and card work get their own scheduled follow-up blocks.
- Sweep every payment channel (35 min) across thirteen months (or a verified recurring-payment report with the same reach), list every software line, write the ×12 column.
- Begin the verdicts (25 min): Keep / Prove / Exit. Say each tool's one-sentence job out loud; hesitation is data. Stop at the hour and schedule the unfinished rows. For a tool only a teammate uses, get their sentence before you verdict: the dispatcher's answer counts, not your guess at it.
- Schedule the Exits: reserve a follow-up block with enough time to open, count, and sample the export; test restore/import where supported and material, or rehearse the clean-account reconstruction; back up; and obtain named-owner sign-off before cancellation. In that block, follow contract terms, provide required written notice, complete the in-app cancellation flow where applicable, and calendar the effective deadline. Expect the cancel-flow gauntlet (the discount offer, the guilt screen); your card on file was the product, and leaving is usually the feature they made hardest.
- Schedule the Proves. Reserve a separate follow-up block for each Chapter 10 probation card and day-30 review; the five card fields and their exit/data proof do not fit inside Friday's first hour.
- Calendar next quarter's triage (two hours, thirteen weeks out), the separate two-hour learning budget, and every remediation block your hours-and-fees columns exposed. Then close the laptop only after each open repair has an owner and date. The cadence is enough to find the work; the repair time is measured separately.
